Wraparound Seminar

The goal of wraparound seminars is to expand the tool kit of individuals who serve youth and families using the wraparound process.

September 24, 2024, 9:00 - 4:00: Teaming with Certified Parent Peer Specialists (CPPS)

Learn about the role of Certified Parent Peer Specialists (CPPS) and how they can be successfully integrated into your wraparound teams. Sessions include:

• CPPS: Improving Outcomes for Families (Paula Buege, Buege Consulting)

• Connecting with Families in a Meaningful Way (Amy Polsin, CPPS)

• CPPS Panel Discussion (moderated by Lynn Maday-Bigboy, Peer Coordinator - Bureau of Prevention Treatment and Recovery)

• Working with CPPS: Challenges and Solutions (Lynn Maday-Bigboy, Peer Coordinator - Bureau of Prevention Treatment and Recovery)

Anyone working with youth and families using the wraparound process.

There are no prerequisites for Wraparound Seminars.

These are typically large audience events that do not require a lot of participant interaction.

Wraparound Seminars offer Attendance Certificate Hours which may count toward ongoing training requirements for programs such as Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).

Wraparound Seminars are not pre-approved to count toward specific licensure CEU requirements, however, hours may count toward 15 of the 30 required continuing education credit hours for LCSW, LPC, and MFT licensure that may be met through "in-house training and development programs". Please check with your particular licensing requirements for more information.
