Providing Wraparound Supervision

Considerations and tools for individuals who provide supervision to wraparound coordinators, facilitators, and staff in programs such as CCS and CST.

Description

Supervisors play a key role in helping staff accomplish the necessary activities of the wraparound process in programs such as CCS and CST.  Providing supervision to wraparound staff requires specialized knowledge and skills.  Core practices and tools will be identified that can assist supervisors in supporting their staff to implement wraparound to fidelity.  

This is not a general supervision course - it is assumed that participants have foundational knowledge and/or training in providing supervision.   

Intended Audience

Individuals who provide supervision to care coordinators, service facilitators, and staff in programs that utilize wraparound.  

Participation Expectation

This workshop is interactive. Active participation for the duration of the workshop is expected.  Please be prepared to participate with your camera on.

Prerequisite

Required

View video:  Prerequisite to Providing Wraparound Supervision (1 hour, 10 minutes).  A foundation for the live workshop, this video provides an overview of the information Care Coordinators and Service Facilitators receive during the 2-day Wraparound Fundamentals workshop, with an emphasis on the role of a supervisor.


Optional/Suggested

View Modules 1 – 6 of the Foundations of Wisconsin Wraparound video course. Each module is around 20 minutes in length, for a total of approximately 2.3 hours of pre-training study.

Attendance Certificate Hours

This event offers Attendance Certificate Hours which may count toward ongoing training requirements for programs such as Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).

This event has not been pre-approved to count toward specific licensure CEU requirements, however, hours may count toward 15 of the 30 required continuing education credit hours for LCSW, LPC, and MFT licensure that may be met through "in-house training and development programs". Please check with your particular licensing requirements for more information.
