Foundational workshop for service providers, family and community supports with an emphasis on the role and responsibilities of wraparound team members. If your role is as a care coordinator or service facilitator, consider the Wraparound Fundamentals for Care Coordinators and Service Facilitators workshop, which is a prerequisite for events such as Wraparound Advanced Practice workshops and Wraparound Learning Collaboratives.
With the principles of wraparound as a foundation, participants will learn the roles and responsibilities of involvement on wraparound teams utilized in programs such as CST and CCS. Team members are integral to the process at all levels including referral and enrollment, assessment, determination of underlying needs, development of individualized plans, and work toward transition out of the formal team process.
The primary target audience is individuals who are currently a part of or expect to be part of a wraparound team in programs such as CST and CCS. This may include service providers and family and community supports.
If your role is as a care coordinator or service facilitator, consider the Wraparound Fundamentals for Care Coordinators and Service Facilitators workshop, which is a prerequisite for events such as Wraparound Advanced Practice workshops and Wraparound Learning Collaboratives.
Although we hope to provide an engaging experience, and encourage active participation; this workshop does not have requirements specific to interaction.
There are no prerequisites for this workshop, however, it is recommended that you view Modules 1 – 6 of the Foundations of Wisconsin Wraparound video course.
Each module is around 20 minutes in length, for a total of approximately 2.3 hours of pre-training study.
This event offers Attendance Certificate Hours which may count toward ongoing training requirements for programs such as Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).
This event has not been pre-approved to count toward specific licensure CEU requirements, however, hours may count toward 15 of the 30 required continuing education credit hours for LCSW, LPC, and MFT licensure that may be met through "in-house training and development programs". Please check with your particular licensing requirements for more information.
