Best practice strategies for effectively engaging youth and families in the wraparound process. Prerequisite: Wraparound Fundamentals for Care Coordinators and Service Facilitators or Providing Wraparound Supervision.

Description

Engagement of youth and family members in the wraparound process used in programs such as CCS and CST is essential to a positive team experience and the achievement of meaningful outcomes.  Learn best practice strategies for effectively engaging youth and family members initially and keeping them engaged throughout the process.

Opportunities for skill enhancement will occur through large group interaction, small group activities, and modeling of best practice. 

Intended Audience

This workshop is intended for care coordinators and service facilitators who wish to advance their wraparound and team facilitation skills.  

Individuals not in the role of care coordinator or service facilitator are welcome to attend.  

Anyone who wishes to attend must complete the prerequisite. 

Participation Expectation

This workshop is interactive. Active participation for the duration of the workshop is expected. Please be prepared to participate with your camera on

Attendance Certificate Hours

This event offers Attendance Certificate Hours which may count toward ongoing training requirements for programs such as Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).

This event has not been pre-approved to count toward specific licensure CEU requirements, however, hours may count toward 15 of the 30 required continuing education credit hours for LCSW, LPC, and MFT licensure that may be met through "in-house training and development programs". Please check with your particular licensing requirements for more information.
