Half to full-day seminars with a goal of expanding the tool kit of individuals who serve youth and families using the wraparound process.

March 19, 10:30 - 4:00: Evidence-Based Practices

This seminar will explore Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children (DBT-C), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as examples of evidence-based practices (EBP’s) that can be utilized to support youth and families involved in programs that utilize wraparound. 

The goal is to increase care coordinator and service facilitator knowledge of the availability and components of, as well as the research behind EBP’s and how these practices can be supported by the wraparound process.

Intended Audience

Anyone working with youth and families using the wraparound process.

Prerequisite

There are no prerequisites for Wraparound Seminars.

Participation Expectation

These are typically large audience events that do not require a lot of participant interaction.

Attendance Certificate Hours

Wraparound Seminars offer Attendance Certificate Hours which may count toward ongoing training requirements for programs such as Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).

Wraparound Seminars are not pre-approved to count toward specific licensure CEU requirements, however, hours may count toward 15 of the 30 required continuing education credit hours for LCSW, LPC, and MFT licensure that may be met through "in-house training and development programs". Please check with your particular licensing requirements for more information.
